Refer a contractor

Know a contractor who should be on Breva?

Send us their name. If they move onto Breva and stay, we send you a $250 gift card. You do not have to be a customer, and there is nothing to sign up for.

$250

A digital gift card, sent once the contractor you referred has completed their migration and paid their first invoice.

Plans to pay apps in one auditable loop. Zero re-keying.
Pay-App Autopilot™ pre-checks math, retainage, change orders, lien waivers, and COIs.
Live cash visibility plus a bonding readiness score that builds while you work.

How it works

STEP 1
Send us a name

Their company, who to speak to, and one line on why now. Under a minute.

STEP 2
We reach out

Within two business days. We mention you by name so it does not arrive cold.

STEP 3
They move their books

We convert their ledger and run a parallel month. Usually four to eight weeks.

STEP 4
Your card arrives

Once their first invoice is paid. You are emailed at every step before that, so you are never left wondering.

What counts

We can pay on

We cannot pay on

A subcontractor or trade contractor we are not already talking to

A company doing roughly $500,000 to $15 million a year

Someone you actually know, who is expecting our call

A referral that reaches us before they contact us themselves

A contractor already in our pipeline — we will tell you within two business days

A seat a general contractor or association is already sponsoring

Yourself, your own company, or anyone at Breva

Anyone employed by a government or public-sector body, including public schools and agencies

Send a referral

The fine print, in plain words

Five paid referrals per person per year. Past that, come and talk to us — if you are sending that many, there is a better arrangement for you.

Nothing is owed if they do not move. We will still tell you what happened.

The card is taxable income to you. The Internal Revenue Service treats gift cards as cash. We report only where the law requires it, and at five referrals a year you will not reach that threshold.

Get their permission first. Do not send us someone who is not expecting our call. One line from you beforehand makes the whole thing work better anyway.

If you mention this publicly, say you are being paid. A post or a recommendation that earns you a card has to say so. That is a Federal Trade Commission rule, and it is also just fair.

Nothing here depends on financing. The card is for a software referral. It is not tied to, contingent on, or calculated by reference to any loan, line of credit, insurance or surety bond.
